As a neuropsychologist and certified Sex Therapist from the UCLA Human Sexuality Institute, Dr. Evans helps couples integrate their emotions, neurobehavioral patterns and differing needs in sexual expression. In her spare time, Gwen is a docent at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco and also pursues her avocation as a cabaret singer in the Bay Area. Her private practice is located in San Francisco, CA.

She has been leading her own Art and Science of Love workshops in Oregon for the past 3 years. She has recently begun leading Level 1 training for clinicians and she really enjoys teaching therapists how to use the Gottman Method. She does private Gottman therapy with couples, and does individual trauma recovery work with adults and teens.

Stacy attended Portland State University where she earned her Masters in Counseling in 2005. Since then she has worked in an agency setting with abused children and their families, as well as being a clinical supervisor for therapeutic foster care and intensive community based treatment for children with severe mental health issues. Prior to earning her Masters Degree she worked as an adventure guide, and rock climbing instructor.

Tammy M. Shelton, M.A., LMFT, LPCC  is a Certified Gottman Therapist, practicing in Tustin, California.   Graduated from Pepperdine University with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology.  Later she went onto to pursue her licensure as a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and later became a Certified Gottman Therapist and has most recently Certified in EMDR. Tammy combines her education and experience of working with clients in recovery using Gottman methods and techniques as it relates to repairing their relationships and stopping their dependencies.

Tammy teaches individuals how to stop the reoccurring cycles of anxiety, depression and failed relationships by bridging the gap in providing assistance dealing with the mental health struggles, along with how to maintain sobriety during the healing process.  When a person in recovery has proper support from their spouse, friends and family members the healing process becomes easier to manage making sobriety more attainable.  Using the Gottman methods is the how to, instruction manual to be successful in healing not only for the person in recovery, for the entire family unit.
